Overview
Dirt King performance lower control arms were developed to withstand off-road abuse without compromising on-road driving characteristics. The boxed plate arms provide additional ground clearance and include replaceable 1/8-inch aluminum skid plates for added protection. An internally ribbed design helps protect the critical suspension mounting points after hard contact.
The outer pivots use heavy-duty Moog ball joints for low-maintenance, serviceable operation. Their sealed housings help reduce noise and contamination, and replacement joints are readily available. The inner pivots use Delrin bushings to support suspension articulation while resisting the premature wear and noise associated with softer bushing materials.
Additional features include recessed shock mounts with drain holes, provisions for bump stops and limit straps, and progressive steering stops that help provide maximum usable steering without over-articulating the CV axles or tie rods. The arms retain stock track width, accept OEM-replacement coilovers, and bolt on with the supplied hardware. Wear components are replaceable, and the arms have a durable black powder-coat finish.
