Overview
The front frame plate kit uses 10-gauge steel to reinforce the frame rails between the firewall and coil buckets. Dirt King developed the plates to support high-stress areas found during demanding off-road use and recommends a properly fabricated coil-bucket crossbar for additional reinforcement. The installation requires removal of the OEM bump-stop mount. These plates are chassis reinforcement components, not suspension lift parts or a substitute for inspecting an already damaged frame.
