Dirt King Prefab Bed Cage | 2004–2014 Ford F-150 / 2010–2014 Ford Raptor

Overview

Dirt King developed this prefab bed cage for maximum rear suspension travel, straightforward installation and minimal loss of bed space. The bolt-together structure mounts after four brackets are welded to the frame and supports leaf-over or leaf-under spring arrangements. Its outside-the-frame, near-vertical shock placement improves stability and damping compared with an inboard cantilever layout.

Specifications

• Recommended shock length: 16 inches (26 inches collapsed and 42 inches extended)
• Compatible with 14-inch shocks when extended rod ends are used
• Recommended shock diameter: 3.0 inches; compatible with 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch shocks
• Bypass tubes must be positioned on the front and back of the shocks
• Shock mounting width: 1.5 inches
• Requires 2-inch wheel spacers or an axle two inches wider per side; the Raptor axle does not require spacers
• Accessory mounting holes: 1/2 inch
