Overview

Dirt King developed this prefab bed cage to increase rear suspension travel and shock performance while preserving bed space. The boxed plate and DOM-tube structure bolts together at the factory bed mounting locations. Its shocks mount vertically outside the frame rails for improved stability and damping compared with an inboard cantilever layout. Accessory holes in the center section accept dust lights or flag whips, and the system is designed for use with Deaver leaf-under springs.

Specifications

• Recommended leaf springs: Deaver H70HD
• Recommended shocks: Fox or King; compatible with other shock manufacturers
• Recommended shock length: 16 inches (26 inches collapsed and 42 inches extended)
• Compatible with 14-inch shocks when extended rod ends are used
• Recommended shock diameter: 3.0 inches; compatible with 2.5-inch to 3.0-inch shocks
• Bypass tubes must be positioned on the front and back of the shocks
• Shock mounting width: 1.5 inches
• Requires 1.5-inch to 2-inch wheel spacers or an axle 1.5 to 2 inches wider per side
• Accessory mounting holes: 1/2 inch
