Overview

The Dirt King Prefab Bed Cage increases rear suspension travel and shock stability while preserving usable bed space. Its boxed plate and tube structure bolts together after four frame brackets are welded in place. The shocks mount vertically outside the frame rails for improved stability, a motion ratio close to 1:1 and more consistent damping than an inboard cantilever layout. The center section includes accessory mounting holes for dust lights or flag whips, and the cage supports leaf-over or leaf-under spring packs.

• Recommended shocks: Fox or King; compatible with other shock manufacturers
• Recommended shock length: 16 inches (26 inches collapsed and 42 inches extended)
• Compatible with 14-inch shocks when extended rod ends are used, with reduced travel
• Recommended shock diameter: 3.0 inches; compatible with 2.5-inch to 3.5-inch shocks
• Bypass tubes must be positioned on the front and back of the shocks
• Shock mounting width: 1.5 inches
• Requires 1.5-inch to 2-inch wheel spacers or an axle 1.5 to 2 inches wider per side
• Accessory mounting holes: 1/2 inch
