Overview
Probearing Pro 8 Series rod ends are three-piece joints developed for demanding off-road use. Dirt King reports that, in a side-by-side test on one of its race kits, the Pro 8 joints maintained a tighter fit between the ball and PTFE liner than the FK JMX Series joints they were compared against. The black coating also provides greater corrosion resistance than standard zinc plating.
Each rod end has a 4130 chromoly body, a hard-chrome-plated 52100 steel ball, a PTFE liner and a specified no-load breakaway torque range of 6–24 ft-lb. One Pro 8 Series rod end is included. Select the correct bore size and left- or right-hand thread for your suspension link or fabricated assembly.
This is a universal fabrication component, not a direct bolt-on part for every vehicle. Confirm the bore, thread size, thread direction, dimensions and fabrication requirements before ordering.
